It is the most reliable and comfortable motorcycle on a long distance trip and I did a 7500 km trip on my standard 500. Never let me down. What is wonderful is that there is a close knit Royal Enfield family of bikers all over India who meet every year at Rider Mania and not to mention the fantastic Royal Enfield website - www.royalenfield.com, which brings this community together. I own 5 Royal Enfields and what I like about it is that it is the simplest motorcycle to maintain on your own. A few tweaks and you can also get it to give you a great mileage and talk about it being easy to customize. Brilliant!!
