A Search Engine Friendly Web Site for you

Introduction

Every webmaster has a dream to get their site listed in a search engine. At the same time there is lot of competition among the websites. So, naturally qa question arise is that how to make our websites search engine friendly.

Suitable urls

Google likes urls that don't have question marks. Sure, we've all seen those types of urls in Google, but they are less likely to appear than short static looking urls. Also it is a fact that search engines prefer updated content.Seo-board.com has a free forum that's easy to install and has search engine friendly urls. A message board is a great place to start.  Your visitors help you create content, and the search engine friendly urls help get you more visitors through search engines. A site should have interactive facility to its visitors.

Images

Images also help your visitors to know more about your site along with just text. Use images that relate to your subject. If your site is about cars put images of automobiles everywhere. You can get a lot of traffic through search engine image sections. It's not as targeted as subject searches. It is better to have any traffic all the time.

Links

A link directory with link trades relate in content to your site. Though link trades aren't that much popular, you have to start somewhere. And if nobody links to you then forget it. But just make sure the sites you trade links with, share common subject matter as much as possible.

Title tags

Correct title tags in your directory and in your entire site is far better. Never repeat the same title tag on every single page. If a page has car links, then the title tag should read "car links", "car sites", or something similar.

 Contents

Repetition of contents from one of your sites in another site is not fair.  Posting articles from free article sites seems to be ok with the search engines. But they should have a unique content surrounding the article text like menus, images, links, etc.

Start with less

Start your site with just a few pages. And don't worry about it. You don't really have to start out with a huge site all at once. Search engine robots like to come back to sites that update continually. So it is meaningful to roll out your site as you developed it.

No broken links

If your site has broken links or if there is nothing there content wise, don't expect webmasters to trade with you. You shouldn't have broken links regardless. Search engines do not receive sites which have broken links.

Careful search engine optimization

Many are care less about search engine optimization. You can't focus all your attention to the search engines, but it makes a big difference in the way to success of your site.  It is better to keep it in mind as you go along creating content for your web site for the development of your business.
