      Labeling your website

The branding of your website is not depending on your webmaster or programmers. It is vital that your website is created by a branding firm and its subsidiary. They are not only experts at branding, strategy, communications and design, but also have a team of expert programmers to do the back end. You might have noticed how so many websites look the same or confusing, busy and junky... That is because they are done by some "fake web designers", or "fake programmers" who also try to be designers, or by some kids who are really good on the computer and html but don't have other experiences or deep notion about web design. And this is not the way to do a website, at least a serious web designer is needed to represent your brand and thus you gain positive results.

You cannot design a house or a building without an architect. The case of designing a web site is the same. The efforts of team work by the design specialists bring out a better web design.

It is better to reduce the flash sights with pictures and animations. It is far better if the brand calls for it.

Your web site needs your image written all over it. It should be clear, well designed, well organized, well written, well executed and well managed, fresh and always updated. Your website is like your business card.

The following elements are needed in your web site:

A well branded design that has clear hierarchy with the clear communication.

A well planned architecture and navigation system.

A proper choice of programming for back end, for example data base for future growth and updating of the site

Ecommerce site, shopping cart system is easy to use and secure.

The proper uses of markup (HTML) through structural tags in the HTML, use of CSS, proper use of structural tags in the layout etc are needed.

A user friendly site that is proven and tested to work with your audience.

A search engine optimized site.

A well structured and easy to update site.

A clear documentation about how the site was constructed for future staff members to follow the logic behind it.

An automatically printable linked files with CSS media type.

A web standard compliant site.

HTML pages are just simple text documents

A web design is more or less creating HTML pages. Html pages are just simple text documents that use special 'key-words' called tags. Simple text documents are so easy to create and manipulate and we can easily view that hand-held devices. For example if you want to make a long story short, HTML pages are useful. Even the most powerful handheld PDA's (personal digital assistant) only have a small fraction of the power/speed of the slowest of desktop computers or laptops.

Images

We all know that image manipulation can really take a lot of computer power. Of course, there are images that have to be created and inserted into your pages.  This is true in print work (where images have to be much heavier) but it doesn't apply to web design because images used in web pages (Gif's, Jpegs and PNGs) have to be made really light so that they don't take forever to download. Briefly it means that images need only juice if they are heavy images.
